2018 What To Bring to H.E.B. Camp

2018 H.E.B. Family Camp – July 22nd-26th
Info & What to Bring List
We need ice chest to pack food to camp! If you have one or more, please bring them to church
Sunday morning. We Also need help packing food. If you can help, please meet in the new
fellowship hall kitchen at 2:00 P.M. The food trailers will leave the church at 3:00 P.M. if you’d
like to follow them.

Please pay your total amount due by Wed., July 18th (or sooner). We’ll meet on Wed.,
July18th at 6:30 P.M. in the old fellowship hall to review the schedule, give out cabin
assignments, make meal teams & clean up assignments, review child protection
training, have a Q&A and a prayer time.

We return from camp on Thursday, July 26th@ 3:00 P.M.

232-6671 for emergencies. This is the H.E. Butt Foundation camp main office.
The camp’s address is 11756N. US Hwy 83, Leakey, TX for GPS or maps directions.
After turning through H.E. Butt Foundation Camp gates follow the dirt road into the
river. Follow the signs to Headwaters, you will turn left off the road & drive in the river

What to Bring Check List:
Bible, Pen or Pencil
Sleeping Bag or bed sheets – Check at meeting for your bed size.
Kings, queens & singles bedding, most adults are on queen size.
2 Plastic drinking cup, Yetis, Water cups, etc. to carry around camp
____ Toilet paper, tissues, hand sanitizer or soap
____ Bath mat, floors are slippery
4-5 Changes of Clothes, t-shirts & shorts are good
Underwear, socks & PJs
Bathing Suit, swimming towel, sunglasses & sunscreen
Washcloth & bath towel
Water Shoes, Sandals, and/or flip flops, if you have them
Tennis shoes or Hiking shoes – We’ll go on a hike Tuesday.
Toothbrush & toothpaste
Shampoo, soap, deodorant, toiletries, etc.
Flashlight! Check your batteries.
Medicine - We have basic first aid supplies and a camp nurse
Optional: Fishing Pole & tackle box. Bait. Great fishing hole!
Optional: Camera, cap, sun hat, sunglasses, snacks, bug spray, river float
or tube, air pump, card &table games, lawn chair, apron, Rec equipment,
water shoes & talent show props or music.
The camp does not allow any pets or animals.
